Valentines Day/Anniversary Party

Celebrating the holiday and our 17th anniversary, we had another VD cocktail party. The guests were varied, including a sorority sister in from Concordia, Mo., Bunny's SLC neighbor who now lives in O'Fallon, friends from work and friends from outside work. The party started off with the mandatory (necessary to get served at the bar) nametags, shown here. Justin and Becky handled the food and bar, with some impromptu kitchen assistance from ROB! I dunno about the concoctions of apples and banana pops that started showing up late in the night. Wasup wit dat?? Special notice to the absence of any Monkey pix............he was the one that kindly manned the camera! The very popular featured drink was Cupid's Arrow-- okay, it was just vodka and cranberry juice. But my head still hurts today, nonetheless!

Happy New Years, 2009!!!!

Karoake (who can forget Mike's Eminem at 2:30?), games, a car in the ditch, great food......need I say more?????

Questions from the "Not So Newlywed" Game.....Amanda and Greg got practice by MCing. "What is the color of your wife's toothbrush?" "What does your husband eat on his hotdog?" "What percentage of the housework does your husband do?" "What is the most she's ever paid for a pair of shoes" And more......

The One Word Trip

Every year we go on a December trip with the Donk and Monk. This year we went aaaafter Christmas and visited Leanne at her B&B in Cincinnati. Highlights included: bridges bridges and more bridges, The Underground Museum, The Taft Museum, Dinner at the Rainman place, and the genesis of the "one word"! Oh, and ice skating (the first time ever for Donk!) And a pass through Louisville on the way home.

We played tennis and bowling at the B List bar for a while.

Monk and Donk in front of the Hustler store. Did you know the original location was here in Cincinatti?

"Lost Posadas"

We had a few friends over for Los Posadas (Talbots, Carters, Fisher-Dunlaps) on Main Street. Since we were all too busy yakking and hanging, nobody actually SAW the procession with Mary on the Donkey.....but we did see the hundreds of people following afterwards. Too funny. We renamed the event "LOST Posadas".........(come to think of it, I don't know that anyone saw anything the LAST time we had a party for this either!). Oh well, fun was still had by all! Oh, and Bunny got to share his "stupid husband trick" by showing off his magically appearing television...
